Section 20 consultation has started for essential fire safety and design improvements for the main stairwell fire doors on floors one to seven.
Final stage of consultation for 4th Floor works has started. There will be a meeting on 23 June at 7pm on 4th floor with designer Anna Burles to showcase materials. A successful consultation will see works begin by end of July.
While works for University Street and Huntley Street continue apace, the next phase for the Oxygen tanks (VIE) is taking shape. Here you’ll find a presentation from the latest stakeholders meeting.
Traffic diversions continue in surrounding area. For utility works related to the new construction, we have University Street closed for 10 more weeks. Huntley Street remains one way with parking restrictions in place.
University Street traffic disruptions from 31 March- 2 April and 7-11 April. A parking bay and motorcycle bay outside of the Jeremy Bentham and Changing Faces will be suspended to allow vehicles to pass.
We have corridor designs to view – they’re available in full here on the site. The focus is on the features and overall concept, rather than individual palettes, lighting, art or furniture. These will be addressed in following phases.
